Beef Bourguignon

This is a sumptuous classic French dish of succulent British beef slowly cooked in a rich red wine sauce. Best served with either rice or new potatoes and vegetables of your choice.

British Beef (38%), Shallots, Button Mushrooms, Red Wine (Sulphites) (12%), Bacon, Plain Flour [contains: Wheat Flour, (calcium, iron, niacin, thiamine)], Olive Oil, Garlic, Thyme, Bay, Salt, Pepper.

Single Portion:

Preheat oven to 200C / fan 180C / gas 4. Remove cardboard sleeve and pierce film lid. Place onto a baking tray and cook in the centre of the oven for 35 - 40 mins, or until food is piping hot throughout. Allow to rest for 2 mins and remove film lid. Stir before serving.

Caution: Take care when removing film lid after cooking, as steam may be released.

Should this product defrost, keep refrigerated and eat within 24hrs. Follow the cooking guidelines but cook for 20 - 25 mins.

Double Portion:

Pre heat oven to 220c / Fan 200c / Gas 7. Remove cardboard sleeve and pierce film lid. Place onto a baking tray and cook in the centre of the oven for 45 - 50 mins, or until food is piping hot throughout. Allow to rest for 2 mins and remove film lid. Stir before serving.

Family Size:

Defrost thoroughly for approximately 10-12 hrs or overnight in the fridge. Transfer contents into a suitable saucepan and place over a medium heat on the hob. Simmer for 15 - 20 mins or until it is piping hot throughout. Stir gently during re heating.
