Chilli Con Carne

Warming beef chilli con carne with chorizo

Chopped Tomatoes, British Beef (25%), Kidney Beans, Onions, Chorizo (Pork, Salt, Paprika, Dextrose, Sucrose, Dextrin, Vegetable Protein, Antioxidants Sodium Citrates and Sodium Erythorbate, Preservatives Sodium Nitrite and Potassium Nitrate, Rosemary extract) (5%), Red Wine (Sulphites), Beef Stock (Water, Beef Extract, Onion, Tomato, Carrot Juice, Herbs, Garlic Spice), Salt, Glucose Syrup, Flavourings, Maltodextrin, Yeast Extracts, Rapeseed Oil, Colour (Caramel), Sugar), Plain Flour [Wheat Flour, (calcium, iron, niacin, thiamine)], Coriander, Cumin, Garlic, Olive Oil, Red Wine Vinegar, Soft Brown Sugar, Oregano, Red Chilli, Cinnamon, Bay, Salt, Pepper.

Single Portion: Preheat oven to 200C / fan 180C / gas 6. Remove cardboard sleeve and pierce film lid. Place onto a baking tray and cook in the centre of the oven for 35-40 mins, or until food is piping hot throughout.
Allow to rest for 2 mins and stir before serving. Should this product defrost, keep refrigerated and eat within 24hrs. Follow the cooking guidelines but cook for 20-30 mins.
Caution: Take care when removing film lid after cooking as steam may be released. 

Double Portion: Preheat oven to 220C / fan 200C / gas 7. Remove cardboard sleeve and pierce film lid. Place onto a baking tray and cook in the centre of the oven for 45 - 50 mins, or until food is piping hot throughout.

Allow to rest for 2 mins and stir before serving. Should this product defrost, keep refrigerated and eat within 24hrs. Follow the cooking guidelines but cook for 30 - 35 mins.

All our meals are microwave safe and can be microwaved from frozen. Some, however, are best suited to be cooked in the oven only.  

If you wish to microwave, please follow these times as a guideline. 

Single: 850W for 3 minutes. Stand or stir for 1 min. Followed by a further 3 min. 

Double: 850W for 4 min. Stand or stir for 1 min. Followed by a further 4 min. 

Make sure the meal is piping hot throughout.
