Our meat and ingredients

Quality is everything to us, it's the backbone of our business. 

You can't produce a quality meal, without using quality ingredients. 

That is why we are so passionate about only using ingredients that are at their very best, and farmed by methods that fit in with our ethos. 

We work very closely with our local butcher ensuring that we only receive first rate meat which is of excellent quality. 

All of our beef is from grass fed cattle that are reared on local, small scale family farms in our local area. 

The lamb we use is farmed less than 15 miles from our kitchen in the rolling hills just outside Prestleigh, Somerset. 

Our chicken is free range from the South West and is reared much slower than mass produced poultry, giving a fuller flavor.

All of our fish is sustainably caught under the guidance of the Marine Stewardship Council.

We have a daily delivery of fresh fruit and vegetables from our green grocer. 

We cook all of our meals from scratch in small batches, just as you would at home. It is therefore very important to us that we start each day with the finest ingredients, so that we can make our meals for you to enjoy in the comfort of your own home.
